How referral tracking works
When a visitor uses an approved Relay link, Relay records a server-side click identifier, partner and offer identifiers, landing destination, campaign fields supplied in the link, first touch, last legitimate touch, and expiration. A first-party identifier is stored so an eligible referral can persist to checkout. Relay does not depend only on UTM parameters or client-side JavaScript.
Attribution window
Consumer-product attribution lasts 90 days and uses the last legitimate qualified Relay touch while preserving first-touch evidence. Copying, overwriting, stuffing, or manufacturing cookies or clicks is prohibited. A click or checkout start does not create commission; an eligible legitimate paid transaction does.
Business opportunities
Browser attribution alone does not protect an FBW business opportunity. Eligible partners register the lead. Protection begins only after conflict checks and acceptance, lasts 180 days, and remains subject to documented ownership decisions.
Controls
Browsers allow you to remove or block cookies. Blocking the first-party referral identifier may prevent Relay from connecting a later transaction to the referring partner. Essential authentication and security mechanisms may still be required for portal access.
Questions or disputes
Email partners@fosterbusinessworks.com. Relay will document the issue, supporting evidence, decision, and any ledger adjustment.
