Commission basis
Commission is calculated from net collected revenue after discounts, refunds, partial refunds, disputes, chargebacks, and invalid payments. Taxes and pass-through amounts are excluded. Each item preserves the offer, partner type, tier, rule version, evidence, original amount, adjustments, state transitions, and payment reference.
Affiliate and professional-referral monthly tiers
Monthly tiers use new commissionable collected revenue generated in the current calendar month: 15% from $0 through $249.99, 20% Producer from $250 through $999.99, and 25% Top Producer from $1,000. Active Consistent Contributors may reach 30% Elite at $2,500. Raw order count and old residual payments do not move the tier meter.
A higher threshold applies retroactively to all eligible commissionable revenue for that same month. Relay records provisional accruals and separate threshold or month-end true-up ledger events; it does not destructively rewrite prior events.
Consistent Contributor and residuals
Consistent Contributor status is earned after three consecutive completed calendar months with at least $1,000 of new commissionable collected revenue in each month. It provides a 25% rate floor, Elite eligibility, and a 12-paid-month residual window. Maintenance requires at least $250 of new qualifying revenue in two of the previous three completed months. One weak month does not remove status.
Standard partners may earn residual commission for the first six paid customer months. Consistent Contributors may earn it for the first 12 paid months. Customers originated during the qualifying three-month streak vest the 12-month window, which is not removed by later slow months. A residual exists only while the customer is active and an eligible payment is actually collected and not refunded, disputed, charged back, fraudulent, or beyond the vested paid-month limit. Residual revenue earns the current applicable rate but never counts as new-production tier revenue.
Attribution and eligible offers
Plainly Prepared browser attribution is 90 days using the last legitimate qualified referral while preserving first-touch evidence. Accepted Foster Business Works leads receive a 180-day protection window after conflict review. Only offers shown as eligible in the portal are commissionable.
Sales Partner rules
Sales Partner activation is not available during the Affiliate and Professional Referral Partner pilot. If separately activated after owner and legal approval, an approved Setter receives $25 for a qualified meeting that is actually held plus 10% of first-year net collected revenue on an eligible sourced client. A Full-Cycle Sales Partner receives 20% of first-year net collected revenue on an eligible self-sourced and closed client, without a meeting bounty. An approved Closer on a company-supplied lead receives 15% of first-year net collected revenue. Raw dialing, duplicate prospects, existing opportunities, no-shows, and unqualified meetings do not earn commission.
States, holds, and approval
Items may be pending, held, approved/payable, paid, reversed/voided, or disputed. Passing a hold does not silently approve payment. An authorized administrator reviews evidence and moves an eligible item to approved/payable. Corrections create ledger events and never erase history.
Payout timing and minimum
Launch payout timing is NET-30 after month end and the applicable hold period. The normal minimum is $25, except an eligible higher-value service commission may be paid independently. Required payout and tax setup must be complete. Relay does not store unnecessary banking details or SSNs. Creating a payout batch does not mark anything paid; payment status changes only when a payment reference and evidence are recorded and reconciled.
Reversals and disputes
Refunds, partial refunds, disputes, chargebacks, invalid payments, fraud, prohibited self-referrals, deceptive promotion, attribution conflicts, and other rule violations can reduce, reverse, void, or hold commission. A partner may dispute an entry within 30 days by supplying relevant evidence.
